I had lived in Victoria for over a year and half before finally checking out The Pink Bicycle.
No one really knows why.
Perhaps it was a good thing because, Lord knows, if I had discovered it sooner I would have been poor and overweight from the amout I would have eaten there.
No seriously.
Anyway, The Pink Bicycle is a tiny little place with wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and the best selection of burgers in the city.
Not only are there a ton of various meat burgers to choose from, which keeps things interesting, the large amount of vegans and vegetarians in the city will be pleased as well. There are three different types of veggie burgers (which was great when I was vegan), as well as a ton of meat selections.
Overall, if it’s a burger you want, Pink Bicycle is the place to go. My personal favourite is the Ahi Tuna. Also delicious is the Bison and the Halibut. They also have a great selection of sodas and bevvies as well. Simply an excellent restaurant to hang out with friends in and get some delicious food as well.
My only problem with this is that I’d have to cross the continent to get there… Montreal is far far away from Victoria.
Victoria? I thought Katie was a Calgary girl! I never think to go to The Pink Bicycle when I’m downtown. I’m putting it on my list!
