Great location, awful food

Because of its proximity to where I live, where I hang out, where I shop – I could go on and on – I ahve been to Red Mile Pizza and Donair quite a few times. I wanted to give it a chance because I like pizza and I like convenience.

The people who work there are great. Super friendly. I have yet to have a donair, but I have been numerous times for pizza, hoping for good results. If you’re lucky enough to get it right out of the oven (rare) then it’s edible, but still mediocre at best. Usually it’s been sitting around and is cold and stale by the time you receive it.

Additionally, because I have a sweet tooth, I have ordered some of their massive cookies that are on display. Literally the worst cookies I have ever eaten. I’ve tried a chocolate chunk and a white chocolate macadamia nut. Both times the cookies were stale. They tasted horrific and even if they had tasted fine, they were so hard that they were literally inedible and hod to be thrown away.

Red Mile Pizza and Donair on UrbanspoonMy advice? Don’t visit Red Mile; the staff is great and the place is always clean but the food is downright terrible.
