French toast, anyone?

Lately I have been having stupid cravings for french toast. I don’t know why. I’m not the biggest french toast fan on the planet. As far as breakfast is concerned, I’d usually rather have an omelette or egg dish and take my toast on the side.

More food = more happiness.

It’s basic math.

Anyway, when I do decide that I need to eat franch toast, I don’t want mediocre french toast from a mediocre restaurant. I want hardcore french toast done right. So when I get french toast I go to Blue Fox in Victoria. Win.

As far as breakfast is concerned, Blue Fox is a great spot in Vic to go, though it is overrated and I will admit that I hate waiting in line on Saturday and Sunday mornings. That being said, it seems you’re stuck waiting no matter where you hit up in Vic, which sucks, but that’s life.

All the food I’ve had at Blue Fox has been great (very large portions, you’ll always have food to wrap up and take home, which makes up for the steep-for-a-breakfast-joint price), but when it comes to french toast, they do it up right. I recommend the apple cinnamon.

Blue Fox on Urbanspoon Overall, I do recommend checking out Blue Fox. They have great french toast (also hit up John’s Place for awesome french toast) and their eggs bennies are delicious as well (Pacifico is always excellent for something different). However, this is one of the longest waits you’ll find in Vic for breakfast food, so if that’s a major negative (especially because it’s breakfast, it’s not like it’s too hard to mess up) you should go somewhere else.
