I’m willing to admit that I spend a lot of time at Mission Diner in (you guessed it) Mission. The ambiance is lovely and the servers are all extemely funny, kind, and helpful, not to mention it doesn’t tend to have the silly line up so common at other breakfast locales.
I’ve had quite a large assortment of breakfasts, usually omelettes, though I’ve also had the Huervos Rancheros, the Breakfast Burrito, and the Breakfast Sandwich. I have to say my favourite is probably the breakfast burrito (the veggie omelette is quite nice too).
The best part of Mission Diner is probably their hashbrowns, which are seasoned, browned, and consistently delicious. The worst part is their prices. Though not ridiculously expensive, they could definitely stand to be lowered a few bucks per item.
Overall, I do recommend Mission Diner. If you’re in the area, I would be first to recommend it or Joyce on Fourth for breakfast. Joyce is cheaper (for breakfast), but Mission Diner offers more in the way of traditional breakfast and brunch options.
